being a mom is hard.
it's been a long week of not being able to find time to post! so, i have to ask. . .how do you mommy bloggers do it? especially the ones who bake and cook like crazy, too. . . and post about it all!
cause i gotta say, having 2 kids is kicking my butt. the laundry, the dishes, the constant messes. how to keep up with that and still have time for my "stuff" (i.e. this blog) is becoming a mystery to me.
the fun news is that my blog is being redesigned. whoo hoo! i just hope i can do it justice by posting regularly! we'll see.
today we'll be slicing into The Cake. that will cheer me up! i love anything lemon and raspberry and people are raving about the recipe. so, here's hoping mine came out well.
back to the dishes. . .

Yeah, I haven't quite figured out how to do it all either, and I've only got one child, a 7 month old, albeit an extremely needy one who doesn't take naps. I do most of my baking on the weekends or at night after he's in bed. As for blogging...well, I haven't posted in a week. The dishes and laundry don't always get done in a prompt manner around here, nor am I going to bed very early. I can't even fathom going back to work yet. I can't wait to hear what some of the other moms have to say!
I feel ya. I don't get around to blogging everyday....and when I do blog, it's during nap time or after bed time..when I can steal a quick minute or two. My baking is all done when hubby is home to watch the kiddo...unless it's something really easy.
I can't wait to hear how this frozen cake turns out.
And has for blogging AND cooking, I have no idea how you guys do it. I blog mostly at night. Hubby and I have devoted certain evenings to be "independent" ie, he reads comic books and I blog. And right now Sam is at his 2 hours of school and Robby is asleep. But again, I'm not cookin' anything at all.
Ha! A question I'm always asking too! This mummy blogger has got washing all over the house, very big bags under her eyes, nothing for tea (but loads of cakes everywhere!). I saw your note about the Tuesdays with Dorie book - You really must buy it - its fab! Happy cooking and blogging! Hx
